Comparative Analysis of the Stability of Prosthetic Screws under Cyclic Loading in Implant Prosthodontics: An In Vitro Study

Background: To compare the loss of preload in absence loading and after a fixed number cyclic loadings on 7-mm distal cantilever two different connection systems using all-on-four prosthetic model. Methods: Two equal models an edentulous mandible rehabilitated with technique types abutment system (MUA OT-Bridge) supporting hybrid prosthesis, were used. Initial torque values fixing screw, ten minutes from initial screw tightening 400,000 repeated registered mechanical gauge. Differences between final reported for each anchoring finally compared. Results: No statistically significant differences regarding MUA OT-Bridge found loadings; however, it was anterior posterior implant screws. A difference only comparing to that measured 10 min loadings. Conclusions: Within limits present study, may be considered reliable able tolerate occlusal loads rehabilitation model without any tightening.
